    YOU KNOW IT! A couple of weeks back, me, Patrik Forsberg and Johan Brännström competed in the 24 h movie comp nOO Maraton. We won regionally and spent Saturday at the national final. We won the audience prize, shared with a very funny film.

    ON TARKOVSKY music vid - thought i make like the vikings did and make an animated music video to a song i wrote a while back, check it out!

    BALANCED, FAMILY - i started putting eyes on the puppets in After effects just the other day, calculated the tracking/animation should accumulate to around 30 working days, starting tomorrow!

  • Shooting! - "Balanced, Family" part III

    HOW THE SHOOTING GOES? it goes well! Long days, short nights, lots of friends coming by to cameo with their arms in cardboard dolphin sharks and what not!

    After three weeks of cave-like living, we have one week left of main shooting. We got a whole lot of shots left, but it's mainly the same oceanic scenery (and rigging, lighting, that is what takes time) so we should be fine. :)

    I also put up some pages from my comic, check it out!

  • Six-legged step to Trollhättan

    "The Vincerin Princess" won at Snällfestivalen, Sundsvall, SE, this weekend! Thus qualifying for Novemberfestivalen in Trollhättan.

    Currently I'm filming the puppet short with Hannes Lidén! Puppeteering has been assisted by fast fingered beri beri chewing Jerker Häggström and Jon Jeppsson, parts of my family has been on the set too to help get things very right. Shooting is very very fun :)

    3/5 of ... balanced family hard at work by kitchen table mess, early April
    2009 (me, dad, Cakka).    		 March rushed by! Thought I'd be updating this a bit more, hmm, Danish mastermind of up and coming artist, Mads Peter Brandstrup Jensen, came by five days early in the month to plan planning, including colors and starting building some papier maché hills. Fun!

    Dad has been materializing my sketches (with about the same speed as which March just passed by), and we have birds and fish and other animals so pretty you wanna eat them but they're made out of wood, mostly.

    Currently: Catching my breath as a hurricane of design geniusness and belly aching laughs spent the last few days with us, that'd be my sister, Cakka. She handled sewing the main little man's costume up with eye-twitchingly beautiful results!

    Two and a half weeks left of building, then I leave for South Africa for two sunny weeks, then! Shooting commences! Life is good! :D
